Hotel dos Zimbros boasts a substantial pool area known for its size and decor. Many guests appreciate the large, well-lit pool, finding the space perfect for relaxation. The pool is spacious and offers a pleasant ambiance, further enhanced by surrounding flowers and neatly maintained areas. On the positive side, the rooms overlooking the pool are clean and free from noise, ensuring a comfortable stay. The poolside also features a jacuzzi, adding to the leisure options available for guests.
However, several issues cast a shadow over this otherwise appealing amenity. Numerous reviews highlight cleanliness problems with dirt, leaves and other debris frequently found in the water. The pool maintenance appears inconsistent, leading to complaints about the cleanliness and occasional non-operational status of the pool. A recurring issue is the cold temperature of the pool water, coupled with windy conditions in the late afternoon, which many find uncomfortable.
Additionally, the pool area's proximity to a nearby national road results in noticeable traffic noise, detracting from the overall tranquility. Some guests have noted a lack of adequate shading and sun-dried sunbeds, which are limited in number and often in poor condition. These factors contribute to an overall mixed experience at the pool of Hotel dos Zimbros with room for significant improvements in cleanliness and maintenance to match the otherwise impressive and spacious setup.
