Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Tagaytay Hotel SixB receives substantial praise for its prime location, making it extremely accessible and convenient for travelers. It is centrally located with numerous restaurants and shops nearby, including a McDonald's, which guests appreciate for hassle-free dining. The hotel's proximity to parks, the lake view and key tourist spots ensures that all attractions are within easy reach.
Guests generally have positive comments about the staff at Tagaytay Hotel SixB, noting the warm and welcoming nature of the personnel. Front desk staff, along with individuals like Melody, Sir Joel and Alvin, are particularly commended for their politeness and helpfulness. Overall, the staff's friendliness and accommodating attitude contribute significantly to the guests' enjoyable experience.
However, there are areas where the hotel could improve. The breakfast service, although regarded as good by some, often receives mixed reviews. Guests find the plated breakfasts and courteous staff pleasing, but many mention the portions are small and the menu lacks variety, leading to a monotonous experience. Additionally, the buffet quality and service speed need improvement, especially during peak times like New Year's.
The rooms at Tagaytay Hotel SixB receive mixed feedback. While some guests appreciate the room size and amenities suitable for two people, others find the accommodations lacking. Issues such as discrepancies between online pictures and actual room conditions, cleanliness concerns and maintenance needs are frequently highlighted. The rooms often have musty odors, unclean linens and sparse amenities. Problems with TV reception and noise further detract from the overall experience.
Cleanliness is a significant concern for many guests with reports of dirty rooms, bathrooms and balcony areas. The pool's cleanliness is inconsistent and there are serious issues such as cockroaches and inadequately washed sheets. Additionally, old rooms and towels, along with unsanitary utensils, have been reported.
In summary, while Tagaytay Hotel SixB excels in location and staff hospitality, it falls short in room quality, cleanliness and breakfast service, indicating areas where substantial improvements are needed to enhance the overall guest experience.
