S Lodge Pattaya, formerly known as Sabai Lodge, stands out for its prime location, spacious rooms and exceptional staff. Nestled in a tranquil yet central part of Pattaya, the hotel offers easy access to beaches, shopping malls like Terminal 21 and Central Marina, as well as a variety of bars, cafes and essential amenities. Guests consistently laud the hotel's strategic position, noting its balance between peacefulness and proximity to key attractions.
The breakfast offerings receive mixed feedback with some guests appreciating the good quality and reasonably priced Thai-style breakfast, while others find it lacking in variety and quality. On a positive note, the rooms are described as spacious and comfortable, featuring good-sized beds and efficient air conditioning. Daily cleaning services ensure the rooms are kept tidy, though some visitors mention that the accommodations appear old-fashioned and could benefit from refurbishment.
Cleanliness is a highlighted strength, as both the rooms and the pool areas are well-maintained. Guests appreciate the hotel's emphasis on hygiene and the helpful, friendly staff contributes to the overall positive experience. The pool facilities, featuring two large and clean swimming pools, are particularly praised for offering a pleasant and relaxing environment.
However, the free Wi-Fi service is a common point of contention with many guests experiencing weak and unstable connections within their rooms. The beds receive mixed reviews; while some guests find them very comfortable, others point out the firmness of the mattresses and pillows as potential drawbacks.
Overall, S Lodge Pattaya offers a central and convenient stay with friendly service and clean, spacious environments, but it could improve in the areas of room modernization and Wi-Fi reliability.
