Public House Hotel Bangkok, a Member of Design Hotels presents itself as a five-star establishment, offering a modern and casual ambiance. While some guests compare their stay to experiences at genuine five-star hotels, others find discrepancies in the advertised quality. The facilities, including a small pool with limited space, fall short of typical five-star expectations, and the absence of additional amenities such as a sauna is notable. Service quality has varied among guests, with some likening it to a three-star experience due to unexpected charges and issues such as limited internet access, which can be particularly inconvenient for business travelers. Despite its position and pricing in the upscale market, the hotel struggles to fully meet the five-star criteria, leaving room for enhancement in both service and amenities.

Emporium Suites by Chatrium offers a mixed experience, combining certain strengths with notable weaknesses. Its location provides a convenient gateway to exploring the city's attractions, being directly connected to BTS Phrom Phong Station—an evident highlight and worthy of five stars in itself. The structure of the hotel is solid, and the attention to detail in some areas impresses those looking for a reliable base in Bangkok. As part of the Expedia +VIP Access program, it can appeal to travelers seeking accommodations with added benefits.
However, there are aspects that do not meet typical five-star expectations. Guests have expressed that the dining area lacks adequate space and variety in its menu, suggesting that alternative breakfast options might be preferable. The absence of amenities such as a washer-dryer and the inconsistent availability of hot water do not align with a five-star experience, affecting comfort and convenience. Furthermore, the condition of beds, specifically their worn springs, is mentioned as a significant drawback at this price point.
While Emporium Suites by Chatrium's location and some attention to detail receive accolades, it seems that the overall experience might prompt some guests to consider other options, even if these come from lower star categories. Despite certain shortcomings, for many, the stay remains satisfying, largely due to its strategic location and solid establishment within the city.
