Aberdunant Hall Holiday Park is committed to environmental preservation and responsible practices within its 200 acres of natural habitat in Snowdonia National Park. They focus on the health and vitality of their trees through surveys and essential work, and undertake reforestation at a 3:1 ratio. The park recognizes the role of its woodlands in carbon capture.
This property is certified as Carbon Negative and has been powered completely by renewable energy (hydro, solar, biomass) since 2013. It features extensive insulation, rainwater harvesting for toilet flushing and allotment watering, and a biological sewage system filtered by a reed bed. The guesthouse uses upcycled furniture, eco-friendly cleaning products, and sources 80% of its supplies locally, including Fairtrade tea and coffee. It also provides three electric car charging points and holds a Gold award in the Green Tourism Business Scheme.
