Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Rio Stay offers a highly convenient location, particularly for those with commitments at Riocentro, as it stands directly opposite the venue. Guests appreciate its proximity to Barra and Recreio, the availability of ample parking and a 24-hour reception that enhances the convenience of their stay. The accommodations are consistently praised for their comfort and cleanliness with well-equipped flats that include all necessary utensils and appliances. The friendly and attentive service from the condo staff further augments the positive experience, making Rio Stay a preferred choice for many travelers.
Breakfast receives mixed reviews with many guests praising the diverse and peaceful spread that provides a pleasant start to the day. However, the lack of inclusion in the room rate and the perceived high cost have led to some dissatisfaction. Clarifying the breakfast pricing or including it in the room rate would likely improve guest experiences.
The rooms at Rio Stay are noted for being spacious, comfortable and tidy with practical furnishings and clean environments. Guests enjoy the tranquil setting and the convenience of an easy check-in process. While some issues such as discrepancies between online photos and actual appearances, occasional dirty walls and linens were mentioned, most guests find the rooms to be well-maintained and conducive to a pleasant stay.
Cleanliness is a standout aspect of Rio Stay with many guests appreciating the well-maintained spaces, clean bathrooms and fresh bed linen. The overall structure of the hotel contributes to a calm and orderly environment. However, there are mentions of specific areas needing more attention, such as the curtains, walls and fridge, as well as the pool's cleanliness.
The staff at Rio Stay are consistently praised for their friendliness, attentiveness and helpfulness, contributing significantly to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere. The reception team is particularly noted for their excellent service and politeness. Instances of safeguarding forgotten items and providing room upgrades further highlight the staff's dedication to guest satisfaction, despite occasional communication issues.
The pool at Rio Stay is a well-liked feature, providing a nice space for relaxation. Guests appreciate its quality and the enjoyable atmosphere, although its limited operating hours and closure on Mondays should be noted.
Finally, the comfort of the beds at Rio Stay is frequently highlighted with many guests finding them very comfortable. While there are some concerns about the quality of the bedding, such as dirty or old linens and a need for extra blankets and pillows, the overall sentiment remains positive regarding the beds' comfort.
