The tranquil and serene environment, combined with pet-friendly policies, enhances the overall appeal for guests seeking relaxation and reflection.
The hotel's breakfast service is generally well-received with many guests appreciating the delicious, varied and hearty offerings. The buffet breakfast often stands out for its range, including fresh eggs, muesli, fruit and freshly ground coffee. The pleasant breakfast area coupled with picturesque views adds to the positive dining experience. Nevertheless, there is room for improvement in terms of variety and quality for some items.
Similarly, the hotel’s dining experience sees mixed reviews. The restaurant is frequently lauded for its delicious, exquisite and varied menu, providing a pleasant ambiance with beautiful surroundings. The pizzeria is another highlight, though some diners find the menu limited, particularly regarding vegetarian options. Service, while generally appreciated, sometimes suffers from slowness and inaccuracies. Opinions on pricing vary, but the inclusion of well-received craft beers adds a positive note.
The rooms at Hotel Salto Del Laja are noted for their spaciousness and comfort with spectacular waterfall views enhancing the experience. However, the somewhat dated condition of the furnishings and facilities is a common point of critique. Guests have mentioned issues with broken fixtures, musty smells and inconsistent heating and cooling. Despite these drawbacks, the serene surroundings and cozy atmosphere largely contribute to a satisfactory stay.
Regarding cleanliness, feedback is mixed. While many guests commend the clean and spacious rooms and well-kept surroundings, others point out lapses in cleaning standards, such as dusty floors, dirty towels and dated upholstery. The need for more thorough maintenance and updates to facilities is apparent to improve the overall guest experience.
The staff at Hotel Salto Del Laja consistently earn high marks for their friendliness and attentive service with notable mentions of individuals like René enhancing guests' stays. Although there are occasional comments on less friendly interactions, particularly at the reception, the majority of reviews reflect a positive, welcoming atmosphere fostered by the staff.

The pool facilities at Hotel Salto Del Laja offer a variety of options, including a large chlorinated pool and a natural pool, both set in picturesque surroundings. Despite some maintenance concerns, such as neglected areas and occasional closures, many guests find the pools enjoyable and well-maintained, contributing positively to their stay.
While the hotel provides ample and convenient parking, the absence of covered spaces and a securely manned area at night are noted drawbacks. The dirt entrance can also pose challenges for some.
For families, Hotel Salto Del Laja presents a highly accommodating experience. The expansive grounds, interactive areas with animals and various amenities make it a prime choice for those traveling with children. The overall atmosphere is relaxing and family-friendly, bolstered by supportive and attentive staff.
