Hotel Schillerplatz offers a well-rounded experience mainly highlighted by its strategic location and exceptional service. Centrally situated, the hotel provides convenient access to shops, restaurants, parks and the picturesque old town, all within walking distance. Excellent transport connections via the nearby highway and train station further simplify travel logistics for both leisure and business travelers. Though some street-facing rooms might experience noise, choosing a rear-facing room can ensure quieter accommodations.
Previously recognized for its varied and ample breakfast options, Hotel Schillerplatz no longer offers breakfast services, which may be a disappointment for some returning guests. Despite this, local nearby bakeries can serve as alternatives. Dinner, however, continues to impress with an on-site Greek restaurant, appreciated for its excellent cuisine and convenience, alongside some select Italian options, often enjoyed in a pleasant garden setting. Guests should note that the delicious aromas from the restaurant may occasionally permeate the hotel’s common areas.
The rooms at Hotel Schillerplatz are noted for their cleanliness with many guests complimenting the well-maintained bathrooms and showers with excellent water pressure. While the furnishings are generally satisfactory for a comfortable stay, some reviews suggest that modern updates could enhance the guest experience. The rooms, though varying in size, are equipped with essential amenities providing a reliable place to rest, particularly for short stays.
Cleanliness stands out as a significant strength of the hotel, consistently highlighted in positive guest reviews. From bedding to overall room conditions, the hotel's strict hygiene standards are praiseworthy, contributing to a comfortable stay.
Service at Hotel Schillerplatz receives particularly glowing reviews with staff noted for their friendliness, attentiveness and dedication to guest satisfaction. Guests consistently feel welcomed and valued with the staff’s willingness to go above and beyond creating a hospitable atmosphere.
Parking at Hotel Schillerplatz presents a mixed experience. While there are dedicated and some free parking spaces available, these can be limited at times, necessitating the use of nearby public parking facilities. This is particularly important for guests to consider if arriving by car.
In summary, Hotel Schillerplatz excels in delivering a convenient, clean and friendly environment with a central location that simplifies travel and exploration, although with some adjustments in services and facilities.
