Park Plaza Amsterdam Airport offers several options for electric vehicle charging, including stations available for use at both the hotel entrance level and in the underground garage. While the hotel does indeed provide EV charging points, feedback indicates that the current setup is somewhat inadequate for the hotel's size. There have been occasional issues with some chargers being out of order, leading to situations where the charging facilities were not sufficient to meet the demand. Despite these challenges, the presence of electric vehicle chargers remains a notable feature, supported by a free and reliable shuttle bus service for guests who require convenient transportation.

Hotel Fogo Amsterdam emerges as a strong choice for travelers seeking modern and clean accommodation with convenient access to both the city center and the airport. Positioned on the outskirts of Amsterdam, the hotel benefits from excellent public transport connections, including a nearby tram stop that links guests to the heart of the city in 20-30 minutes. Despite being away from the central hustle, the ease of reaching transportation lines and the added convenience of having a McDonald's nearby make it an attractive and relatively affordable option.
A standout feature at Hotel Fogo Amsterdam is the breakfast experience, which receives high praise for its extensive variety, freshness and overall quality. The buffet is often described as delicious and well-prepared with friendly staff who ensure the stocks are replenished promptly. While there are minor mentions of specific items lacking freshness and some finding the price a bit high, the breakfast remains a recommended highlight for guests.
The hotel rooms are noted for their modern decor, cleanliness and comfort. Despite some comments about the compact size of the rooms and bathrooms, guests appreciate the cozy and stylish feel with some rooms offering impressive airport views. Daily housekeeping and a responsive staff enhance the experience, although improvements are needed in soundproofing and ventilation.
Cleanliness across the entire hotel is generally maintained at a high standard, supported by positive remarks about well-kept public areas and attentive cleaning staff. Isolated issues like room-specific odors and occasional unclean conditions upon check-in do occur but are quickly addressed by the responsive team.
The staff at Hotel Fogo Amsterdam consistently receive accolades for their friendliness and professionalism. Guests highlight the team's willingness to go above and beyond with particular mentions of standout individuals who made their stay special. The multilingual capabilities of the staff further create a welcoming environment for international visitors.
While the hotel's wifi experience is mixed with some guests facing connectivity issues, the management is aware and working on solutions. The parking facilities are ample and secure, although the extra cost for parking has been a point of contention for some visitors.
Regarding the beds, guests have varied opinions. Many find the beds comfortable and conducive to a good night's sleep, though a few mention the mattresses being too hard or the beds a bit small for doubles. Despite these mixed reviews, the overall bedding experience is largely positive.
In summary, Hotel Fogo Amsterdam provides well-rounded, budget-conscious accommodation with notable strengths in location, breakfast, cleanliness and exceptional staff service. Though there are areas for improvement, the hotel offers a pleasant and convenient stay that many guests find worthwhile.
