Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Loosdrecht-Amsterdam is celebrated for its exemplary location on the serene banks of Loosdrecht Lakes. Guests consistently commend the stunning views and peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation. The picturesque setting is enhanced by convenient access to the lake, offering activities such as boating and biking and a popular terrace by the water where guests can unwind and appreciate the tranquil environment.
The breakfast experience at the hotel generally earns positive remarks for its quality and enjoyable lakeside setting, which adds a scenic charm to the meal. Despite some issues with cost, restocking and occasional cleanliness, many guests find the offerings tasty and the variety commendable. Dinner reviews are more mixed with high praise for the food's quality, service and marina views, though some guests feel the menu could be more extensive and the pricing more competitive.
The hotel's rooms are appreciated for their spaciousness, comfort and lovely lake views. Guests often highlight the clean, well-maintained atmosphere and modern amenities, though some indicate that the decor could use an update and mention occasional maintenance issues. Cleanliness in general elicits both approval and criticism; while some guests find their rooms immaculate, others note specific areas needing better upkeep.
Staff at the hotel receive mostly favorable reviews, particularly for their friendliness and helpfulness with several instances of exceptional service. However, some guests report less positive interactions, suggesting potential improvements in hospitality training.
Feedback on the beds is divided. While many guests find them comfortable and cozy, a notable number describe them as too soft or sagging, which detracts from an otherwise pleasant stay.
Lastly, despite the hotel's four-star rating, some guests feel that certain aspects, such as the outdated accommodations and lack of essential amenities, do not align with this classification. Issues like weak air conditioning, the smell of smoke and periods of unfriendly service contribute to skepticism about the hotel's true star rating.
Overall, Fletcher Hotel Restaurant Loosdrecht-Amsterdam offers a memorable stay primarily due to its breathtaking location, though there is room for improvement in several areas to meet the high expectations of a four-star establishment.
