'Alua Calas de Mallorca Resort' enjoys a magnificent coastal location with stunning sea views, making it ideal for those seeking tranquility by the beach. The resort's setting on a cliff provides picturesque vistas and the nearby Cala Domingos beach adds to its allure. Guests consistently praise the friendly, attentive staff and the serene environment, which includes clean and comfortable facilities. The breakfast is celebrated for its variety and quality, particularly the custom-made omelettes and freshly prepared items, contributing to a highly satisfactory dining experience.
Spacious rooms, many of which offer breathtaking sea views from their balconies, further enhance the stay. The family rooms are particularly praised for their ample space and modern amenities. Cleanliness generally meets guests' expectations with daily cleaning and well-maintained common areas, although some reviews mention occasional lapses in room maintenance. The friendly and helpful staff, especially at the reception and in the restaurants, significantly contribute to the overall positive atmosphere of the resort.
The pool area is a highlight, featuring well-maintained pools and plenty of sun loungers, though there are occasional issues with shade and availability of sunbeds. The resort is particularly family-friendly, offering a variety of activities for children and a relaxed environment that caters well to family needs. However, noise from other guests can sometimes disturb the otherwise quiet setting.
The dinner experience at the resort is mixed; while some guests find the food delicious and diverse, others criticize it for being repetitive and lacking in quality. The dining service's efficiency and meal variety could use improvement to better meet guests' expectations. Opinions about the beds are divided with issues like beds separating during the night and some discomfort due to lower-quality bedding.
Finally, although the resort is advertised as four-star, some guests feel it doesn't fully meet the standards of this rating, citing outdated facilities, misleading room descriptions and concerns about cleanliness and food quality. Overall, Alua Calas de Mallorca Resort offers a generally pleasant stay, especially for families and those seeking a peaceful seaside retreat, but there's room for improvement to align more closely with its four-star promise.
