Hotel America boasts professional and helpful staff that consistently receives praise for their exceptional service. The hotel's facilities, however, present a mixed bag. The restaurant and wine bar are noted for their four-star quality, offering superior dining experiences. Despite the spacious rooms, some elements, like basic furnishings and the need for renovations, fall short of four-star expectations. The hotel's breakfast also does not meet four-star standards and the lack of private parking is inconvenient, forcing guests to use paid spots. While overall cleanliness and maintenance are satisfactory, the hotel feels somewhat outdated. Despite its classification as a four-star establishment, the prices seem high compared to the service and amenities provided.

Hotel Buonconsiglio appears to fall short of the expectations set by its four-star rating, particularly regarding its facilities and services. The accommodations, while spacious, are described as outdated and in need of renovation. The furnishings are noted to be worn and chipped with the overall decor feeling tired and not up to the standard expected from a European four-star hotel. The breakfast room also fails to meet the expectations of a four-star establishment, lacking in both ambiance and quality. Despite these shortfalls, the hotel's location seems to compensate for its defects to some extent. Overall, while it has some redeeming qualities, the hotel does not consistently meet the requirements of its four-star rating.
