Hotel Romanville enjoys a prime location in the heart of Chapecó's commercial center, drawing praise from guests for its convenient proximity to banks, bakeries and other central amenities. The hotel's positioning in a safe and secure environment enhances its appeal to travelers, who also commend the courteous and attentive service from the staff. The blend of cost efficiency and cleanliness, paired with spacious rooms, makes it a favorable choice for both business and leisure visitors. Despite the slightly inconvenient distance from the bus station, the overwhelming positive feedback on its central location and friendly staff solidifies Hotel Romanville as an excellent base for exploring Chapecó.
The breakfast experience at Hotel Romanville is a notable point of contention. While some guests find the simple offerings satisfactory, many criticize the limited variety and quality of the food. The slow restocking of items and an often unorganized breakfast area detract from the experience, suggesting that the breakfast might not meet everyone’s expectations, but could still suffice for those seeking a quick start to their day.
Room feedback is varied. Although some guests appreciate the quietness and spaciousness of the rooms, significant hygiene concerns overshadow these positives. Issues noted include dirty rooms, dated bathrooms and uncomfortable beds. Missing amenities and maintenance problems, such as malfunctioning air conditioning and noise from communal areas, further mar the stay experience. These concerns indicate that while the hotel provides some comfortable spaces, improvements in hygiene and maintenance are necessary.
Cleanliness reviews are similarly mixed. Positive remarks praise the clean bedding, well-ventilated rooms and added amenities like extra blankets. However, negative comments frequently mention unclean conditions in both rooms and bathrooms, strange odors and even sightings of cockroaches. The infrequent cleaning schedule and unclean breakfast dishes add to the concerns, suggesting inconsistencies in maintaining cleanliness standards.
The staff at Hotel Romanville are a highlight, earning consistent praise for their friendliness, kindness and professionalism. Guests frequently note the staff's attentive and helpful nature with the reception staff, in particular, receiving commendations for their warm and professional demeanor. However, some reviews mention isolated incidents of unfriendliness, indicating room for improvement in ensuring consistent customer service.
Feedback on the beds is also mixed. While many guests find them comfortable, there are recurring complaints about wobbly frames, hard mattresses and the absence of top sheets. Maintenance issues are generally resolved promptly, although the small size of the bathrooms is often mentioned alongside bed-related concerns.
In summary, Hotel Romanville's standout aspects include its central location and exceptional staff service. However, potential guests should be aware of the mixed reviews regarding breakfast, room hygiene and bed comfort. Despite these inconsistencies, the hotel's overall strategic setting and dedicated service make it a viable option for travelers to Chapecó.
