Alambique - Hotel Resort & Spa offers a blend of comfort and service typical of a four-star establishment, though some guests feel there are areas that fall short of this ranking. The hotel earns praise for its friendly staff, spacious and comfortable rooms, and a breakfast spread that provides a notable variety, aligning well with four-star standards. Customer service emerges as a strong point, with attentive and professional staff contributing to a pleasant stay.
However, some facilities and amenities did not meet the expectations associated with a four-star rating. The spa, which could benefit from improved management of guest entry, sometimes feels more like a bustling water park rather than a serene retreat for relaxation. Rooms in the older parts of the hotel could use updates, as features like shower curtains and bathtub arrangements do not align with four-star expectations. Furthermore, guests suggest improvements in details such as providing a complimentary bottle of water in family rooms and offering bathrobes in various sizes.
While some guests question the value for money, especially when considering prices comparable to international standards, the architectural style of the hotel, indicative of its growth through various expansions, adds a distinct charm. Overall, Alambique - Hotel Resort & Spa performs well in service and room comfort, yet should address certain aspects to fully embody the four-star experience.
