Hotel Kaiserhof Landshut often appears to miss the mark when it comes to its advertised four-star rating. Although centrally located and generally clean, the hotel exudes a somewhat worn, outdated look with rooms that feel cramped and in need of modern updates. Guests frequently note that the hotel does not meet four-star standards, particularly pointing out issues such as mold stains and peeling paint in the bathrooms and damaged doors and curtains. The communal fridge and certain unavailable facilities, like the USB garage, further add to the underwhelming experience.
While the breakfast is described as fairly good, it falls short of what one might expect from a four-star hotel. Many have found the service and overall experience to be more in line with a good three-star hotel. On the positive side, the hotel staff earns recognition for their service, although some feel they are left unsupported by management. Recent changes in ownership have yet to reflect in the quality of service and amenities. Visitors generally find the price-performance ratio acceptable but agree that significant improvements are needed for the hotel to genuinely achieve and reflect a four-star status.
