The service level falls short of typical four-star expectations and the breakfast offerings have been noted as being underwhelming for such an esteemed rating. Additionally, various aspects of the hotel's maintenance and its facilities have been described as inadequate and surprising for a hotel of this caliber. Hotel de Naturaleza Rodalquilar & Spa Cabo de Gata portrays itself as a four-star accommodation, yet many guests note that it falls short of the expected standards for this rating. The overall sentiment highlights various areas where the hotel could improve. Guests pointed out the lack of basic amenities typically found in a four-star property and expressed concerns regarding the cleanliness of the rooms and common areas. The food quality, particularly during breakfast, was also deemed below the expected level with some guests describing it as declining.
Feedback about the state of the facilities was mixed; while some deemed the accommodation decent, others noted that the rooms, bath and pool towels appeared old and worn out. Additionally, little details that many customers anticipate in a four-star hotel, such as better care and updated decor, seem to be missing. This perceived gap between the hotel's current state and its advertised rating has led many to conclude it might not wholly live up to its four-star claim. Despite these critiques, a positive note came from the unique and personalized service offered to pet owners, such as storing pet food in the freezer, which was appreciated.
