The Beach House Resort Hilton Head Island is an unpretentious independently run hotel that offers superb facilities and services for a good price. The hotel has an awesome location, situated right on the beach and close to everything. The room was big and the bed was comfy with the food being very good. The staff were very nice and accommodating with access to the beach being so convenient and the fact that they could rent beach chairs and umbrellas made it so easy. Although the hotel facility could use a little modernizing, it was clean and comfortable. The pool was enjoyable with great amenities including the restaurant and music. There were some minor issues with the parking flooding during heavy rains and ants around the pool being a nuisance, but these were small inconveniences. One of the servers on site was rude and the food quality left some guests bloated and gassy. Some guests also experienced some issues with the bathroom and the shower water breaking, but the hotel reimbursed them for that night. Overall, it was a satisfying stay and the staff were very good even though the property seemed older and renovations were happening on the first floor.
