Situated in a historically rich palace, Hotel Puente de Alconétar boasts a picturesque setting that appeals to many travelers. Guests highlight the kindness of the staff and the special attention given to pets, which includes feeders, king-size beds and toys, significantly enhancing the experience for pet owners. Classified as a four-star establishment, it is recognized for its top-notch rating, although some reviews suggest it falls short when compared to other hotels in the same category.
The specific concerns raised include the shabby interior of certain rooms and cleanliness issues, particularly regarding unpleasant bathroom odors. Additionally, the restaurant service has been noted for its slowness. Guests feel that with a few more details and improvements, the hotel can more fully embody the four-star standard it aims to uphold. Despite this, its enchanting location and historical background remain standout features.
