The Garstang Country Hotel & Golf, Sure Hotel Collection offers a serene environment with very quiet surroundings, making it an ideal retreat for business travelers looking for a peaceful stay. Guests appreciate the convenient location, particularly its ease of access from the M6, making it a practical choice for those traveling from the north. The hotel is perfect for stopovers and short business trips, boasting great value and easy, free parking facilities.
For business needs, the hotel provides well-equipped conference rooms and meeting room facilities, which are highly regarded by guests as suitable for hosting various professional events. Additionally, the business class center adds to the convenience for professionals.
However, some areas could benefit from improvements. Communication seems to be a challenge, as there were mentions of phone calls often going unanswered. The breakfast, although quite tasty, is self-serve and occasionally not very hot. Additionally, the menu options might be somewhat limited for a large hotel and there have been comments about insufficient staffing to fully cater to business travelers' needs.
Overall, the Garstang Country Hotel & Golf is a noteworthy option for business-oriented stays, especially valued for its quiet ambience, convenient location and suitable business facilities.

Barton Manor Hotel & Spa, BW Signature Collection offers a peaceful location, easy to find and convenient for travel. The breakfast is delicious, plentiful and with a good selection; and the dinner options are faultless and very well presented. The rooms offer a mix of experiences and the hotel is praised for its superb cleanliness, friendly staff, up-to-date decor, gardens and fantastic food. The spa facilities are top-notch and the gym has a great range of equipment. The pool is clean and enjoyable with some describing it as lovely. The family accommodation is great and comfortable and the bed quality is fantastic. Guests found the hotel to be a great place for a relaxing getaway, though some found it more of a 3-star hotel than a 4-star one. Overall, it's a nice hotel suitable for a really lovely night away.
