Lalapanzi Lodge is situated on a private 600-acre estate at the foot of the Hottentots Holland Mountain. They are off the municipal grid and self-sufficient with water, using only rainwater or water from their dam. They use septic tanks for sewage and do not allow or use any poisons or pesticides. They also grow some vegetables for guests and have a natural eco swimming pond.
