The AJ Gran Alacant by SH Hoteles receives mixed feedback regarding its four-star rating, facilities and services. Some guests appreciate its modern appearance, high cleanliness standards and overall value for money, deeming it a top-class, beautiful and excellent four-star hotel. The internal beauty and cleanliness of the hotel stand out and its presentation, staff and amenities contribute to a commendable experience that meets the expectations for its star rating.
However, other reviews highlight certain shortcomings. Some guests find the room amenities basic and missing essentials like a kettle or coffee machine, which are typically expected in a four-star establishment. The dining options, particularly dinners and breakfast, were repeatedly mentioned as areas needing improvement in both variety and quality.
While the hotel is described as business-ready, travel-friendly and fitting the standard of a four-star accommodation, there are comments about it not fully delivering the expected four-star experience with some citing it as overpriced. Despite these critiques, the overall sentiment about its value for money remains positive, particularly in comparison to other hotels of similar or lower rating.
