Summary of reviews related to the 'Pool' category
Summarized by AI
At the Fiesta Americana Hacienda Ixtapan de La Sal, the pool area receives mixed feedback from guests. On a positive note, there are several swimming pools available, including adult and children's pools, which are appreciated for their variety and fun elements like a pirate ship. The indoor pool stands out as a favorite due to its warmth and pleasant ambiance. When it is in good condition, the heated pools are also noted for being very clean and enjoyable.
However, guests frequently highlight issues with the outdoor pools, such as the water temperature being too cold even in supposedly heated areas. The pool maintenance receives criticism with reports of loose and dirty tiles, cold and turbid water and a need for better overall upkeep. The children's play areas and pools also suffer from maintenance issues, including missing tiles and cold water, detracting from the comfort and safety of younger guests.
Additionally, the pools often seem overcrowded and the poolside facilities, such as the lounge chairs, are mentioned as being old and in need of replacement. Pool cleaning and heating systems appear to be a concern as well with some guests noting that the boilers were broken and not repaired during their stay. Despite these maintenance challenges, the diverse pool options and pleasant indoor pool experiences provide a good balance for families looking to enjoy their time at the hotel.
