The warm and friendly reception from the staff further enhances the welcoming atmosphere, making it a standout choice for visitors aiming to immerse themselves in Pau.
The breakfast experience at Hotel De Gramont is largely positive with many guests appreciating the hearty and generous meals, featuring a variety of fresh and local options. However, some guests find the breakfast basic and not befitting a four-star hotel, citing a lack of options and the high cost.
Rooms at the hotel are generally described as spacious, clean and comfortable with high-quality furnishings and comfortable bedding frequently praised. Some rooms offer lovely views of the city, enhancing the stay. Nevertheless, a few guests have noted issues such as outdated decor, insufficient cleaning and poor soundproofing in certain rooms.
Cleanliness at the hotel receives mixed reviews; while many guests find the rooms and common areas impeccably clean, others report issues like dust, mold and unpleasant odors, suggesting room for improvement in maintaining consistent hygiene standards.
The staff at Hotel De Gramont are consistently praised for their exceptional friendliness, professionalism and dedication to guest comfort. The helpful and attentive nature of the staff significantly contributes to a positive guest experience.
The WiFi service at the hotel is another mixed area with some guests finding it adequate while others report significant connectivity issues, indicating a need for more reliable internet service.
Families find the spacious and well-designed family suites, along with additional amenities like a billiard room, highly accommodating. The hotel is frequently recommended for family stays due to its suitable facilities and welcoming environment.
While the beds are mostly praised for their comfort and quality, some guests found them either too firm or narrow with occasional mentions of two single mattresses being pushed together.
