Summarized by AI
Despite some positive feedback, there are notable concerns regarding the Novotel Angers Lac de Maine's four-star rating. Guests have expressed that certain aspects of the hotel do not meet their expectations for this category, particularly when compared to other four-star or even three-star hotels. While parts of the hotel have been modernized, some areas still appear outdated.
Dinner service has garnered criticism for its slowness and the half-board option's fixed menu has been described as subpar compared to other offerings. Pricing has also been a point of contention with guests finding the rates excessively high for the quality provided, suggesting a lack of value for money. Despite these issues, there are mentions of the establishment being excellent in some aspects, indicating that the hotel does have positive attributes. However, these have been overshadowed by the perceived shortcomings in meeting four-star standards.
