Mercure Port La Grande Motte enjoys a superb location directly by the harbor and seaside, frequently praised for its magnificent views of both the port and the sea. The central setting offers convenient access to beaches, shops, restaurants and a casino, making it an ideal base for exploring La Grande Motte. Guests appreciate the tranquility amid centrality with stunning balcony views and the ability to enjoy pleasant harbor walks and beachside strolls.
Breakfast is generally well-received, described as excellent, abundant and varied, though some guests note its high cost and occasional issues with item availability and organization. Dinner also garners positive assessments due to the high quality of meals and diverse daily menu, despite occasional lapses in service.
Rooms are highlighted for their spaciousness, comfort and exceptional vistas from the balconies. However, some areas show signs of aging, particularly carpets and decor, prompting calls for updates. Cleanliness feedback is mixed; while many guests find the hotel well-maintained, others cite issues with carpets and bathrooms needing better upkeep.
The staff consistently receives high marks for their friendliness, professionalism and attentive service, contributing significantly to the positive guest experience. The pool is appreciated for its size and location, though it could benefit from more shade and improved maintenance.
Parking is convenient but limited with secure and ample spaces available, albeit sometimes difficult to reserve in advance during peak times. Bedding generally earns praise for comfort, though some guests experience issues with mattress hardness and pillow sizes.
