Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Best Western Plus Kenwick Park Hotel, nestled in the picturesque Lincolnshire countryside, offers guests a serene retreat with its beautiful grounds and well-maintained gardens. This tranquil setting is complemented by easy access to the charming town of Louth, nearby beaches and the Cadwell Park race circuit, making it a convenient base for exploration and relaxation. The hotel's many facilities, including a swimming pool and sports center, contribute to its appeal for both leisurely and active pursuits, making it a popular choice for events and family visits.
Guests frequently praise the breakfast offerings, highlighting the variety and quality of the buffet-style spread, which includes both continental and full English options. The efficient and friendly breakfast staff enhance the experience, despite occasional remarks about repetitive choices and lukewarm items.
Dining at the hotel for dinner also receives positive feedback with many commending the delicious and well-presented dishes. However, some find the menu limited and prices slightly high, particularly during longer stays. Despite these criticisms, the restaurant staff's friendliness and the overall quality of food maintain a generally favorable impression.
The spacious and clean rooms are another highlight, proudly featuring beautiful views and modern furnishings in some areas. Although there are mentions of dated decor and minor maintenance issues, the rooms are often described as comfortable and well-equipped. The helpful and friendly staff amplify the positive experience, even though occasional lapses at reception during busy times were noted.
Cleanliness throughout the hotel is highly regarded with guests often describing the rooms as spotless and well-presented. Some minor issues with housekeeping standards do arise, indicating a need for more consistent attention to detail. The spa and leisure facilities stand out, offering a comprehensive and rejuvenating experience with a well-maintained pool, Jacuzzi, sauna and a hydrotherapy pool. The gym also garners positive reviews for its modern equipment and well-maintained environment.
While the WiFi experience is mixed with some guests praising its reliability and others noting spotty coverage, the availability of in-room entertainment options and free electric car chargers is appreciated. The pool facilities receive mostly positive reviews, despite some limitations on booking slots and occasional cleanliness issues. Tennis facilities are generally well-received, though there are mentions of maintenance needs.
Parking is ample and free, which many guests appreciate, although a few suggest better signage and designated areas for disabled guests. Overall, the hotel’s picturesque setting, comprehensive amenities and attentive staff make it a highly recommended option for travelers seeking a relaxing and enjoyable stay in Lincolnshire.
