Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Quality Inn & Suites New Hartford - Utica enjoys a strategic and tranquil location, offering easy access to local attractions and amenities. Guests appreciate its proximity to shops, restaurants, and key destinations like the Adirondack Bank Center. While some find it slightly challenging to locate from Route 90, its overall position balances affordability and convenience, making it an attractive choice for visitors.
The breakfast at the hotel is well-received, providing a wide variety of options to suit different tastes and preferences. Guests appreciate the inclusion of hot items, adding value to their stay, though there is room for improvement in terms of healthier choices and presentation involving traditional dining ware.
Room conditions are highlighted positively, with many guests praising their cleanliness, spaciousness, and modern decor that includes amenities such as fridges and microwaves. The rooms offer a pleasant environment with an ideal air conditioning system contributing to comfort during stays. However, some feedback pointed to maintenance issues and dated exterior, indicating areas where improvements are needed.
Cleanliness is consistently noted as a strong point, with guests frequently complimenting the hotel's updated and well-maintained public spaces and rooms. The quiet and secure environment further enhances the appeal of staying at the hotel. However, occasional inconsistencies in housekeeping standards and specific mentions about carpet cleanliness suggest areas that could benefit from attention.
The hotel staff are consistently recognized for their welcoming and accommodating nature, contributing significantly to positive guest experiences. Guests appreciate the polite and helpful approach from check-in through to check-out, highlighting the staff's dedication to resolving issues and ensuring comfortable stays, even amidst minor communication challenges.
Beds receive general approval for comfort, with many guests remarking positively on their sleep quality. While a few reviews mention less satisfactory experiences due to mattress firmness or spring issues, the overall impression remains favorable.
Overall, Quality Inn & Suites New Hartford - Utica provides a clean, comfortable, and friendly environment with notable strengths in location and service, though there is room for enhancement in specific areas to fully meet guest expectations.
