Boasting an architectural design and concept unique to the Czech Republic and probably the world too, Hotel Ještěd is built right on top of the mountain, 1012 metres above sea level and it is accessible via cableway. Its architect, Karel Hubáček, designed the shape of the hotel to resemble a large transmitter tower which houses the hotel rooms and restaurant, all of which offer breathtaking views from up above.
