The Old Course Hotel St Andrews has been described by guests as an exceptional and outstanding five-star venue, perfect in every way. However, some guests have noted that the service and amenities do not always match up to the high expectations that come with a five-star rating. Some have been appalled by what they see as boorishness and others have noted that the standard is not up to par with other five-star hotels. However, many guests have described the hotel as fantastic, superb and friendly with great service all around. While some believe that the hotel could improve by offering more advanced amenities such as Nespresso machines in the rooms, others have noted that they cannot fault any aspect of their stay at the Old Course Hotel St Andrews, making it a must-visit destination for those in search of luxury accommodations.

Marine & Lawn Rusacks is a stunning five-star hotel that provides an exceptional luxury experience. The hotel's facilities and services exceeded guests' expectations, from the lovely accommodations to the valet parking. Guests enjoyed friendly and helpful staff throughout their stay, whether it was having dinner in the incredible 18th rooftop restaurant or overlooking the old course's 18th hole from their new room. While some guests reported that the cooked breakfast was not up to par with a hotel of this class, others had a perfect stay and would highly recommend Marine & Lawn Rusacks as the nicest hotel they stayed at during their trip.
