Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Hotel Tesoro Beach offers an enviable location, just 35 minutes from the airport and nestled right on the beachfront with stunning sea views and easy beach access. Beautifully maintained gardens and thoughtfully designed pool areas add to the overall ambiance, making it a perfect getaway for beach lovers. The expansive beach, described as beautiful and stunning, along with numerous swimming pools and panoramic views, contribute significantly to the hotel's appeal.
The breakfast experience at the hotel is well-received, featuring a delicious, typical Salvadoran breakfast with a buffet-style service that is often included in the stay. Guests appreciate the friendliness of the chef and the quality of food, though some feel that the menu could benefit from a wider selection and additional local dishes.
Dinner at Hotel Tesoro Beach receives mixed feedback with slow service and inconsistent food quality being common issues. While some guests find the food delicious, the service delays and occasional cold dishes detract from the overall dining experience. Suggestions for improvement include better menu options and a more attentive staff, especially in the restaurant.
The rooms are spacious and clean with well-maintained facilities, but they are somewhat outdated and present issues such as damp conditions, occasional lack of hot water and broken amenities. While cleanliness is generally well-regarded in common areas, the room upkeep could be enhanced. The new management's ongoing renovations and updates are promising steps toward improving the accommodations.
Cleanliness across the hotel's public areas, including the beach and pools, receives consistent praise. However, room cleanliness and maintenance show variability with some guests noting a need for deeper cleaning and regular housekeeping services.
The hotel staff earns mixed reviews. Many guests appreciate the attentiveness and friendliness of specific individuals, like Sandra and Leonardo at the front desk and Jimmy from the restaurant. However, there are concerns about the reception staff's organization and occasional rudeness and the general need for improved training, especially among waiters.
The pool facilities, including the recently added infinity pool, are generally well-regarded for their beauty and appeal, though some guests find the pools a bit small and noisy at times. The attentive pool bar staff enhances the poolside experience, despite occasional lapses in cleanliness.
The beds are comfortable for most guests, though some reviews mention issues with the softness, humidity and smell of the bed linens. Overall, the experience is satisfactory with room for modernization and maintenance.
In summary, Hotel Tesoro Beach excels in location, ambiance and outdoor facilities. While breakfast adds to the positive experience, dinner service requires significant improvements. Room conditions and staff performance present areas for enhancement, but ongoing renovations and the efforts of standout employees contribute positively to guests' stays.
