Le Toro Bleu garners significant praise across various key aspects, making it a well-regarded choice among travelers.
The location is a standout feature, situated conveniently in a pleasant small town near the city center, shops, supermarkets and a casino. Its proximity to Lake Der is an added bonus, particularly for nature and bird enthusiasts. Guests find the setting quiet and serene despite some noting its closeness to the road.
Breakfast at Le Toro Bleu is consistently well-received, described as hearty, generous and a great start to the day. The use of local products and the reasonable price of €7 enhance the dining experience. The friendly service further augments the positive feedback.
Dining at Le Toro Bleu achieves high marks with traditional French cuisine prepared with expertise. Guests frequently mention the enjoyable and delicious meals, highlighting dishes like homemade lasagna. The value for money is particularly noted alongside the enjoyable atmosphere and the helpfulness of the staff, especially Chef Franck.
Room accommodations combine elegance and practicality. Guest reviews highlight the beautiful decoration, cleanliness and high comfort levels despite some minor critiques regarding bed size and bathroom dimensions. TVs and rooms with high windows or old-fashioned key systems suggest areas for improvement, yet the overall sentiment remains positive.
Cleanliness is another strong aspect with numerous reviews noting the rooms as very clean, enhancing overall comfort. Although some mention mold in the shower, the general standard of cleanliness meets expectations.
The exceptional hospitality of the staff is a recurring theme. Guests praise the friendliness, attentiveness and helpfulness of the team, including the owner and Chef Franck. The welcoming and kind reception contributes significantly to the hotel's inviting atmosphere.
Parking facilities also receive positive reviews, appreciated for their private, secured and free nature. The ample parking space directly behind the hotel adds to its convenience.
The beds, while viewed positively for comfort by many, receive mixed feedback. Some guests found the mattresses too soft and the pillows too thick, yet many commend the overall comfort, indicating a generally satisfying sleeping experience.
