Very Good

Location

If you're looking for a nature getaway, Clifty Inn is the perfect destination. Located right inside the park, the beautiful scenery and river views are truly amazing. The park is well-kept with plenty of nearby trails for hiking. The location is convenient to a variety of activities and close to historical downtown Madison, which is rich in history. The Ohio River valley is spectacular with great viewing areas of the river from the hotel, including the dining room, balconies and outdoor gathering areas. Being in the state park is beneficial for hiking and enjoying the outdoors. The front desk staff is friendly and informative and the accommodations are nice and comfortable with beautiful views of the river and town. The location inside the park is perfect with lots of beautiful vistas and great places to walk. The only downside is the limited options for food and shopping on site and in Madison's historic area. Nevertheless, the park and river views are well worth the visit. Overall, we love the Clifty Falls Inn and Restaurant with its incredible views, lovely park and the convenience of being close to other surrounding towns.
