Haunted Hotels in Marion

The historic Kahn Hotel is considered one of the ten most haunted hotels in Texas, as it is located in one of the most haunted towns, Jefferson. The hotel used to be a saloon and a brothel in the 19th century, while many murders and gruesome incidents had taken place there, resulting in quite a few ghostly residents to still lurk around its premises. Guests have reported seeing the ghost of a previous prostitute and that of her son that pulls pranks on some guests, the ghost of Billy, a young man who was hanged by his lover's father after their failed attempt to elope and her tragic death, while strange occurrences like blood, screams and gunshots appear out of nowhere.
