The reviews of the pool at Hotel Palacio Maya highlight predominantly positive experiences. Guests consistently compliment the pool as being very pleasant, spacious and beautiful, making it an enjoyable spot for relaxation. The pool area is often described as comfortable, clean, well-maintained and accompanied by a lovely garden setting. The presence of fun elements such as slides and the sight of peacocks add charm to the pool area.
However, some guests noted the pool water was very cold and the pool itself is small, which may be a drawback for those seeking to swim laps or visit during colder months. There is also mention of the pool requiring guests to make purchases to sit at the tables, which could be an inconvenience. Additionally, the pool and garden areas close relatively early, cutting short the opportunity for a later evening swim. Despite these minor issues, the pool overall is a well-regarded feature of Hotel Palacio Maya, providing a pleasant and picturesque environment for guests.
