It's a wonderful spot to stay with lots to do both in the hotel and in the surrounding area. The location of the property is amazing and the beachfront pool and beach are definitely highlights. While some guests complain about needing to Uber when they want to escape the hotel, others love the location's proximity to Miami Beach's party scene. Overall, the location of Fontainebleau Miami Beach is excellent and ideally located to a variety of restaurants and shopping destinations. So if you want to enjoy beautiful pools, a great beach and all that Miami Beach has to offer, look no further than the Fontainebleau.

Breakfast
If you're staying at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach, make sure you try their high-quality breakfast. While there are some downsides such as no complimentary water and a steep price ($102 for two breakfasts), the paid breakfast buffet is definitely worth it according to many guests. It's outstanding and professional service from the waiters make for an excellent dining experience. Despite there being only one place for breakfast for a lot of rooms, the breakfast itself is amazing and delicious. So be sure to try it out!

Rooms
Fontainebleau Miami Beach offers guests both renovated and outdated rooms. The hotel's deluxe suites were praised for their spaciousness and modern touch, while others made note of aging furnishings and unpleasant odors. Visiting guests noted that the hotel's accommodation left something to be desired in terms of cleanliness with dirty carpets, unclean bathrooms and outdated facilities. Some rooms were also not ready for check-in at the allotted time. However, the hotel was commended for its comfortable bedding and adequate room sizes. The bay views were also highly praised. The Fontainebleau Miami Beach could benefit from improving its housekeeping services and outdated amenities, but the renovated suites seem to offer guests the perfect balance between elegance and comfort.

Beds
Fontainebleau Miami Beach has received mixed reviews about the beds from its guests with a few negative comments. However, the majority of the reviews suggest that the hotel has comfortable beds. One guest even went on to say that the bed was very comfortable. On the downside, some guests complained about receiving a double bed instead of a king bed despite booking for an ocean view king room. Another guest felt that the mattress was sinking and felt like a motel 6 mattress picked up from a dumpster. Although the negative reviews exist, the positive comments outweigh them and overall, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a great choice for its guests looking for a comfortable bed to sleep in.

Cleanliness
Guests have mixed reviews about the cleanliness of Fontainebleau Miami Beach. Some guests reported filth, mold, stains and dirty furniture. However, others praised the cleaning staff for their amazing work and mentioned that the resort was nice and clean. Some rooms were outdated and required deep cleaning and guests were unhappy with the housekeeping frequency. The hotel was dirty in some areas and the pool was cloudy. The front desk staff was reported to be unfriendly in some instances. Overall, while some guests experienced cleanliness issues, others had a pleasant stay and no complaints about the cleanliness of the hotel.

Staff
Fontainebleau Miami Beach boasts a lovely staff that is friendly, courteous and accommodating. The front desk receptionists were speedy and super helpful, while one guest received excellent attention from Nikki during check-in. Marie, the cleaning lady, was highlighted for being one of a kind and very helpful. However, a handful of guests had encountered rude and unhelpful staff and some had even complained of incompetence and lack of care. There were instances of confusion and slow service at the front desk and a lack of personnel around to help. Despite some negative feedback, the restaurants were commended for their great food and service from the staff. Room service, the checkout procedure and TV and safe operations were some areas where the hotel could improve its service.

Spa
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach boasts a fantastic spa experience that guests are raving about. While a few reviews mentioned some minor hiccups such as missing tiles and no hot water, it seems these were isolated incidents that didn't detract from the overall spa experience. Guests highly recommend taking advantage of the spa day pass, which may seem pricey at $100 per person, but is well worth it for the top-quality and extensive spa facilities available. The Lapis Spa treatment is a must-try and many guests claim it's the best spa experience they've ever had. So, if you're looking to treat yourself to a luxurious spa day, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach is the place to be!

Pool
Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a great destination for those looking to enjoy an excellent pool experience. The pool facilities, beachfront location and pool staff are all top-notch. The magnificent pool is truly amazing, although guests may have difficulty finding a chair beside the main pool during peak times. Fortunately, there are multiple pools within the property, each with many loungers nearby. Although hotel beach umbrellas are charged at $25 a day, the good facilities are definitely worth the small fee. Despite the noise and occasional glass in the pools, guests still overwhelmingly liked the pools and their plethora of amenities. It's important to note that the outdoor pool and bars close at 7 pm, even on weekends and that the indoor pool requires a $100 per person spa day pass. During stormy weather, the pool may be closed, but guests can still enjoy the many bars and tiki service attendants by the pool. Though the pool menu is limited, it certainly won't put a damper on the beautiful pools and beach.

Beach
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach boasts a prime location right on the beautiful and huge beachfront facing South Beach. Guests can enjoy easy access to both the beach and pool areas, creating the perfect setting for taking in the ocean views and the amazing beachfront location. While some guests reported issues with the beach during stormy weather, others loved waking up to the sound of the ocean and the stunning beach balcony views. The hotel beach umbrellas were an additional charge, but overall the excellent location close to the beach was praised by visitors. Despite a few hiccups with housekeeping leaving them without face towels, guests were still impressed with the beachfront location, the vibe and the lovely grounds. Although one guest reported the water wasn't clean, overall the beach received great reviews and made for a fantastic complement to a memorable stay at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

Parking
Fontainebleau Miami Beach has received both positive and negative reviews regarding their valet parking service. Although the valet takes too long to retrieve cars and is expensive, other guests have only positive things to say about the hotel's parking services. Some guests complained that valet was trying to swindle them for more money, while others found that the parking was annoyance-free. Valet parking is the only negative during their stay, according to some guests. A few complained that they were overcharged for their room or had to pay cash for everything. However, most guests agree that everything is perfectly designed, except parking.

Family
If you’re looking for a family-friendly hotel, Fontainebleau Miami Beach may not be your first choice according to some guests. However, those who did bring their kids along enjoyed the amenities provided and had a good time. The pool was a hit with the little ones! It’s important to note that if you’re traveling with children, it’s better to book the same kind of room to stay in the same building. Additionally, there were mixed reviews about the hotel’s suitability as a family-friendly destination. Some guests felt it wasn't very family-friendly while others seemed to imply that young children might not appreciate some of the hotel's finer features. Overall, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a great place for solo travelers or adults looking to party, but it's important to consider whether it's the best choice for a family vacation.

Nightlife
If you're looking for a place with an exciting nightlife scene, Fontainebleau Miami Beach has got you covered. There are plenty of amazing restaurants and activities to enjoy right within the hotel itself. However, if you're looking for peace and quiet, be sure to ask for a room away from the nightclub exit, as it can get pretty rowdy outside in the early hours of the morning. Overall, the vibe of the hotel is great and there are tons of parties and music going on all around, including in the beach restaurant, the lobby and the bar. Fontainebleau Miami Beach is definitely a "party hotel" and if you're into that kind of thing, it's the perfect place to stay. While there may be some rowdy behavior and drunk guests, this is to be expected in such a lively atmosphere. On a downside, however, the hotel club charges a fee for entry, which can range from $60 to $100. Despite this, the nightclub itself is a lot of fun and definitely worth checking out. Overall, Fontainebleau Miami Beach is a great choice for those looking for an exciting and fun-filled vacation.

5 Star
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach is an amazing, iconic five star resort that will treat you like royalty. The service and facilities are exceptional, meeting all expectations for a luxury hotel in Miami. Guests rave about their incredible stays and superb experiences with front desk staff receiving special mentions. However, some reviews lament that the hotel falls short of five star standards and prices with one reviewer citing it as a two-star experience. Despite this, the majority of guests find the Fontainebleau Miami Beach to be an amazing, exceptional and unforgettable place to stay.

Outdoor Pool
The Fontainebleau Miami Beach boasts of excellent pool facilities that offer guests multiple options within the property. The beautiful pools and good facilities provided make it an ideal spot to relax and soak up the Miami sun. Parents with kids will particularly love the amenities that cater to the younger guests. However, note that the pool and outside bars may close earlier than expected, even on weekends. On rare occasions, the pool may require maintenance or repairs, but with the many pools available, guests will never be left high and dry. Whether you're spending the day lounging by the pool or taking a refreshing dip, the Fontainebleau Miami Beach outdoor pool experience is one you won't forget.

Luxury
Fontainebleau Miami Beach is an iconic hotel that promises to treat its guests like royalty. Though not all reviews were positive, most agree that this is a great 5-star resort with high-end finishes. Some guests complained about the service, which they felt was not up to the hotel's 5-star standard. Many found the hotel too expensive, but acknowledge that this is what you would expect from a luxurious 5-star hotel in Miami.
