Guests particularly appreciate the smooth and welcoming check-in process, consistently staffed by attentive and helpful personnel who contribute positively to the overall experience.
The rooms, while spacious and convenient in size, present a mixed scenario. The beds receive varied feedback with some guests finding them quite comfortable and others experiencing discomfort due to issues like hardness and reported bed bugs. Cleanliness in the rooms, though satisfactory to some, is frequently cited as problematic with complaints about mold, water damage, stained towels and lingering odors. These cleanliness issues extend to the overall hotel environment, which some guests describe as run-down with dirty carpets and visible trash.
Despite these drawbacks, the staff at Red Roof Inn Chicago - Joliet stands out for their friendliness and efficiency, going above and beyond to accommodate guest needs. Their pleasant demeanor and willingness to help significantly enhance guest satisfaction, balancing some of the hotel’s less favorable aspects.
