Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello is a beautiful hotel with exceptional service and lots of activities available. The lobby features a cozy fireplace and a nice atmosphere. Guests can enjoy good food at the restaurant but reservations are needed. The estate has good trails for skiing, snowshoeing or walking and the Christmas decorations make for a very pleasurable stay. Despite some complaints about prices, the buffet breakfast was great and decently priced. The hotel also offers discounts for room issues. The largest log structure in the world is also on the property. Though some guests didn't feel the hotel met 4-star standards, the historic and well-maintained property still provides a peaceful and comfortable stay. Additionally with health directives being taken seriously during the current COVID-19 situation, guests felt safe during their stay.
