Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Misty Garden Resorts is highly praised for its superb location, offering visitors peace and tranquility amid lush green valleys with direct views of breathtaking waterfalls. Situated about 30 kilometers from Munnar town, it serves as an ideal retreat for those seeking a nature-centric experience away from urban life, despite the distance from the city center necessitating some planning for excursions. Guests appreciate the resort's good value for money, particularly due to its scenic beauty and delightful culinary offerings.
The breakfast experience at Misty Garden Resorts receives mixed reviews. While some guests find it satisfactory, others suggest improvements for greater variety, including the addition of fruits and fresh juices. Despite these suggestions, there are commendations for the breakfast being unexpectedly good, indicating varying perceptions based on individual expectations and preferences.
Rooms at the resort are generally well-received for their ambiance and cleanliness. Most are spacious and maintain a high standard of cleanliness, contributing to a pleasant stay. However, certain rooms have experienced issues such as moldy curtains, water seepage stains, and unpleasant odors, suggesting a need for consistency in quality across the board. The staff is notably helpful, enhancing guest satisfaction with attentive and supportive service.
Overall cleanliness at Misty Garden Resorts garners praise, with visitors appreciating the clean environment that complements the serene location. While there are occasional concerns—such as dirty rooms, unpleasant odors from wash basins or taps, and sporadic sightings of cockroaches—the majority of guests are satisfied with the cleanliness standards, aligning with expectations for a non-star hotel.
The resort staff receives high praise for their outstanding service and hospitality. Guests consistently describe them as friendly, welcoming, and cooperative, contributing to a memorable and enjoyable stay. The staff's dedication to guest satisfaction is evident in their readiness to help and accommodate needs, leaving a lasting positive impression.
The swimming pool at the resort, though small, is well-maintained, providing guests with a refreshing and soothing retreat. While the presence of chlorine in the water is noted, it aids in maintaining cleanliness. The pool delivers a satisfactory experience in a calming atmosphere, adding to the overall charm of the resort's offerings.
