Many appreciated that when the indoor pool was available, it provided a comfortable space for family enjoyment. Guests noted that the pool was clean and well-maintained during operational periods, contributing to a pleasant experience.
However, it's important to note that several reviews mentioned the pool being closed frequently, whether for renovations, the season, or other unspecified reasons. Some guests were disappointed to find the pool non-operational during their stay, which contradicted the hotel's listing of having an indoor pool. Additionally, a few reviews mentioned the pool being ice-cold or not heated, which might be less appealing for those seeking a warm swim.
In summary, while the indoor pool at Howard Johnson by Wyndham Williamsburg offers a comfortable and enjoyable experience when open, potential guests should check its operational status ahead of their visit to avoid any inconvenience.
