Villa Beachside offers a charming accommodation experience that gently blends the nostalgia of an older hotel with modern conveniences. Guests often highlight its great standard, which is well-aligned with a three-star rating by Danish standards. Despite the fact that the main building is indicative of its time, the hotel has been gently renovated to maintain its original charm while offering reasonably updated facilities.
While there is no elevator in the old building and some facilities may seem outdated for those seeking a four-star experience, the hotel compensates with its very well-equipped rooms and overall service. Visitors often find Villa Beachside to be very well-priced for what it offers, making it a great value for money. The lovely villa ambiance adds to its charm, making it a satisfying stay for most guests.

Pure Hotel Dänischer Hof is a great location for those looking for a peaceful and quiet stay in Altenholz or Kiel. The hotel is easily accessible by car and within a reasonable distance to the city center and the beach. Guests raved about the breakfast, describing it as varied, abundant and delicious. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, providing efficient service and making guests feel at home during their stay. The parking options were considered a positive aspect of the stay. While some guests found the beds too soft and worn out, the majority complimented the comfortable and cozy beds, which were quiet and provided a good night's sleep. However, the hotel is quite dated and some areas of the rooms and the hotel need renovating or modernizing. The cleanliness received mixed reviews with some guests reporting untidiness and maintenance issues. Despite this, the hotel provides spacious rooms with soft beds for a comfortable stay and great value for money.
