The Riviera Resort Palm Springs is a paradise for those looking to soak up the sun and relax by the pool. The pool areas are beautiful, clean and well-kept with warm water that's perfect for a dip. The highlight is the main pool, which is large and a fun hangout space with a great atmosphere and fire pits that provide a nice setting for ending the day, especially appreciated on the cooler evenings. The pool and hot tub areas are great and the heated pool is awesome, even in the evenings when it gets chilly. Families will love the very family-friendly pool scene and there are two lovely swimming pools to choose from. The pool staff is attentive and the pool bar and dining options are good as well. However, there are some minor drawbacks, such as the mandatory fee to access the pool and the fact that some of the smaller pools lacked towels. Overall, guests enjoy the large pool area, the heated pool with jacuzzi and fire pits for the night and the friendly staff, making the pool the favorite part of their stay at the resort.
