Apartments Vila Marija stands out primarily due to its spectacular location by the stunning Bay of Kotor. Guests are enchanted by the breathtaking views of the water and mountains, rendering it a peaceful retreat just a short drive from the historic Kotor Old Town. The direct beach access, serene environment and picturesque walking paths make it a standout destination for those seeking tranquility and natural beauty. Despite minor inconveniences like occasional street noise and narrow roads, the overall experience is overwhelmingly positive with guests frequently using terms such as "magical" and "enchanting" to describe the surroundings.
The culinary experiences at the villa are noted for their excellence. Breakfasts are hearty, varied and generous, often surpassing expectations. Guests relish their meals by the water, making breakfast a delightful and memorable part of their stay. Dinner at the on-site restaurant also garners high praise for its delicious seafood dishes, charming atmosphere and comparable city-center prices, enhanced by a 10% discount for guests. While minor issues occur, the dining experience generally exceeds expectations, contributing to the overall appeal of the property.
Rooms at Apartments Vila Marija, while spacious, clean and well-equipped with useful amenities, do show signs of wear and dated decor. The views from the rooms are a consistent highlight and despite some criticisms regarding soundproofing and occasional maintenance issues, most guests find the accommodations satisfactory. The cleanliness is generally commended, though some inconsistencies in cleaning services are noted.
The staff at Apartments Vila Marija receive glowing reviews for their friendliness, helpfulness and dedication to guest satisfaction. Specific staff members are frequently mentioned for their exceptional service, enhancing the overall guest experience. Despite a few isolated incidents of less satisfactory service, the majority of interactions with the staff are positive, underlining their role as a significant asset to the establishment.
While the free Wi-Fi service receives mixed feedback regarding its reliability, it remains a useful amenity for many guests. Similarly, the beachfront location of the villa is a major draw with guests enjoying the clean, warm waters and private beach area. The views and seaside conveniences are highly appreciated, despite occasional comments about limited access and guest treatment.
Parking facilities, offering free and convenient options, generally satisfy guests, though the narrow surrounding streets can pose challenges. The host's assistance in managing parking issues is a notable plus, enhancing the parking experience overall.
In terms of bedding, feedback is mixed. Some guests find the beds very comfortable, while others report issues with worn-out mattresses needing urgent replacement. Despite these discrepancies, the overall comfort of the bedding, along with the availability of sunbeds, contributes positively to the accommodation experience.
In summary, Apartments Vila Marija is highly recommended for its stunning location, excellent dining experiences, friendly staff and overall clean and comfortable accommodations, despite some room for improvement in certain areas.
