Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Days Inn by Wyndham Fort Myers Springs Resort is favorably positioned for easy access to local attractions and points of interest, including Sanibel Island and Florida Gulf Coast University. Guests appreciate its convenient location for meeting friends, attending events, or as a stopover during longer trips. The resort's staff, particularly during morning and evening hours, contributes positively to the experience through their friendliness and helpfulness.
The resort provides a complimentary breakfast, which, while basic, serves as a convenient option for guests not seeking extensive variety or high-quality offerings. Though mixed reviews exist regarding the food quality, it remains an advantageous inclusion in the stay.
The rooms present a mixed experience, reflecting ongoing renovations. Despite this, guests frequently commend the comfort of the beds and cleanliness, with housekeeping often praised for maintaining tidy rooms with new linens and drapes. Room sizes are appreciated, though amenities like storage solutions for hanging clothes are limited. A few challenges include loud air conditioning and small-sized double beds, yet many rooms remain comfortable and in good condition.
Cleanliness overall in the rooms is generally satisfactory, with many guests noting tidy and organized spaces. However, consistent reports of neglect in certain areas of the property, such as common areas and gardens, detracted from the experience. The resort is undergoing construction, which contributes to a less appealing aesthetic compared to promotional materials.
The staff at Days Inn receive largely positive reviews for their kindness and attentiveness, enhancing the overall guest experience. Particular staff members like Lèah are noted for their professionalism. Despite occasional service inconsistencies, the reception's late-night availability ensures that guests' needs are broadly met around the clock.
Lastly, the beds are highlighted for their surprising comfort, often exceeding expectations. While the mattresses receive positive remarks for their comfort, a few guests find them excessively soft. Challenges with bed size and isolated cleanliness issues, such as burnt marks on bedspreads and reports of insects, are noted but do not dominate guest feedback. Overall, the beds tend to offer comfort levels that might not suit all preferences but generally contribute to restful nights.
