Embassy Suites Des Moines Downtown offers parking options that have left guests with mixed impressions. On the positive side, the parking is conveniently located just across the road, providing guests easy access to the hotel. Many have found this to be a convenient aspect of their stay, with well-lit and fairly accessible parking facilities. The surrounding area also offers ample street parking, often allowing guests to park for free without the need for the hotel garage.
However, there are aspects that were less favorable. Some guests noted that the hotel's underground garage often fills up quickly, making it necessary to use alternative parking solutions, such as a paid ramp across the street. The cost of parking in the area, particularly within the hotel facilities, has been described as pricey, with some guests feeling that parking fees should be included in the room rate. Occasional frustrations were also reported with cleanliness and the availability of space.
Overall, while the parking experience at Embassy Suites Des Moines Downtown comes with a few challenges, the convenience of nearby options and the possibility of street parking provide flexible solutions for most guests.

The Hilton Des Moines Downtown boasts a great location and nice facilities according to guests. The parking situation, however, disappointed many with some feeling the cost of $18-$25 per night was too high. While there is free parking for guests, the lot was not always well-monitored and could fill up quickly. Some guests also had trouble finding a spot to fit their vehicle as the underground parking spots were small. Others found street parking to be a better and cheaper option. Despite these concerns, the hotel does offer secure parking and requires guests to have their room key in order to park in the lot.

At Hyatt Place Des Moines Downtown, parking seems to be a topic of discussion among guests, with many noting the $30 per night fee as higher than expected. Visitors mentioned that while the parking process can be a bit inconvenient, walking across the street to the parking garage is manageable. Despite some previous experiences being more favorable, concerns about the cost and availability of parking persist. While there's room for improvement in terms of communication around parking, the central location of the hotel and ease of access partially compensate for the cost.
