Premier Hotel and Spa Cullinan enjoys an excellent and convenient location, making it perfect for exploring the town and its attractions. Guests appreciate its central position, which provides easy access to the diamond mine and historical village, as well as local restaurants and shops, enhancing their stay with convenience and ease. The hotel's beautiful environment, friendly staff and clean rooms add to its appeal, making it an attractive choice for travelers seeking to experience the charm of Cullinan.
The breakfast experience generally receives positive feedback with many guests praising the food as superb, delicious and hearty. The well-prepared and tasty offerings, along with the friendliness and helpfulness of the restaurant staff, contribute to a satisfactory morning meal. The portions are generous and the breakfast presentation is good, although there are occasional inconsistencies regarding the availability of certain items and service speed.
Dinner at the hotel's restaurant is described as delightful and fresh, offering good value for money with scrumptious dishes such as crumbed chicken wings. The super friendly staff further enhance the dining experience. However, there are occasional complaints about the freshness and quality of certain meals, indicating some inconsistencies.
The rooms at Premier Hotel and Spa Cullinan are appreciated for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfortable beds and pillows. The Deluxe Suite with its large bathroom, is particularly noted for its comfort. Despite these positive attributes, there are issues that need attention, such as broken blinds, lack of hot water and maintenance concerns like falling door handles and ant infestations. Noise from nearby areas and thin walls can also detract from the overall experience. While some rooms may appear basic and old, they generally offer good value for money due to their cleanliness and comfort.
The hotel's cleanliness is frequently praised with guests highlighting the pristine environment, clean beds and linens and well-maintained facilities. However, there are criticisms regarding stained baths, leaking showers, old towels and ants in the bathrooms, suggesting that certain areas need a deep clean.
The standout feature of Premier Hotel and Spa Cullinan is undoubtedly its staff. The team is consistently described as incredibly friendly, attentive and eager to assist, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Key staff members are commended for their exceptional service, going above and beyond to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. This high level of hospitality significantly enhances the overall guest experience.
While the majority of guests find the bedding comfortable, there are notable concerns about the state of the mattresses and pillows with many suggesting they are old, uncomfortable and in need of replacement. Updating the bedding could significantly improve the comfort levels for future guests.
Overall, Premier Hotel and Spa Cullinan provides a pleasant stay with its excellent location, friendly staff and clean environment. Improvements in maintenance, breakfast consistency and bedding could further elevate guest satisfaction.
