Tamarind Tree Hotel has garnered a predominantly positive response across various aspects of its service and facilities, making it a recommended choice for travelers, especially those embarking on safari adventures. Its strategic location near Wilson Airport offers convenience and a peaceful setting, ideal for a restful stay either before or after a flight. Despite being slightly removed from the bustle of the city, its proximity to attractions such as Nairobi National Park and the Carnivore Restaurant adds to its appeal.
Guests of the hotel consistently praise the modern, clean, and secure environment, from the well-maintained outdoor grounds to the elegant interior spaces. The rooms stand out for their spaciousness, contemporary design, and effective amenities, contributing to a relaxing and comfortable stay. The standout comfort of the beds is frequently highlighted, offering guests a restful night's sleep, although the pillows receive slightly less enthusiasm.
The culinary experience at Tamarind Tree Hotel is positively received, from the diverse and high-quality breakfast buffet that provides a fulfilling start to the day, to dinner offerings that many guests describe as delightful and some of the best hotel food in Kenya. Although some mention the meals could be expensive, the general consensus appreciates the excellent taste and generous portions. The restaurant setting and friendly, efficient staff further enhance the dining experience.
Another strong point for the hotel is its impeccable cleanliness, with rooms and public areas kept in pristine condition, aligning with high-end hospitality standards. The staff at Tamarind Tree Hotel receive glowing reviews for their professionalism, friendliness, and attentiveness, making every guest feel welcome and well cared for. The team's ability to manage requests and resolve issues quickly adds to the hotel's overall positive impression.
While some guests experience challenges with the hotel’s wifi connectivity, and occasional critiques are directed at kitchen hygiene, these concerns are outweighed by the positive aspects of the hotel. The pool area also garners praise, offering a serene escape with its heated waters, ideal for an early morning swim.
Overall, Tamarind Tree Hotel is well-regarded for its modern charm, excellent service, and strategic location, providing an all-encompassing, delightful stay for travelers seeking comfort, convenience, and a touch of luxury.
