Gran Evenia Panamá Hotel is marketed with a 5-star rating, aligning with expectations for high-end accommodations in Panama. Guests often commend the hotel for its adherence to a five-star category in terms of presentation and general standards. However, there is a notable divide in guest opinions regarding whether the services and facilities fully meet this prestigious classification.
Many visitors praise the hotel, finding it fitting for a 5-star rating within the region, expressing satisfaction with the overall price-to-performance ratio. Some highlight it as exemplary for a 5-star hotel within Panama, noting it as one of the best options available.
In contrast, a segment of reviewers feels that the hotel falls short of international 5-star service standards. Criticisms focus on the absence of certain amenities typically associated with 5-star accommodations, such as makeup remover pads, hair conditioner, bathrobes and slippers. These guests argue that the hotel’s infrastructure and service levels are more aligned with a 4-star or even 3-star rating.
Ultimately, while the Gran Evenia Panamá Hotel has several proponents for its local five-star categorization, it also faces scrutiny from those who find its offerings lacking by global luxury benchmarks.
