Hotel Capriccio São Caetano is frequently praised for several key attributes, making it a popular choice among travelers. The hotel's prime location is its standout feature, offering convenience for both business and leisure guests. It is situated close to workplaces, restaurants, bars, shopping malls and major transit hubs such as the São Caetano train station and bus station. Guests appreciate the combination of a strategic location with tranquil surroundings, enhancing the overall experience.
The hotel staff, particularly the reception team, have consistently received high marks for their friendliness, politeness and attentiveness. Guests frequently commend specific staff members, like the receptionist William, for their exceptional service. The warm and welcoming atmosphere created by the staff significantly contributes to the positive reviews.
In terms of amenities, the breakfast is generally well-received for its variety and abundance with offerings like fruits, eggs and bread. Many guests find the breakfast to be a satisfying start to their day, especially considering the affordability of the hotel. The breakfast area itself benefits from the hotel's tranquil environment.
The hotel offers spacious and well-ventilated rooms with early check-ins often accommodated by the helpful reception staff. However, there are notable areas for improvement. Guests have mentioned that the rooms and furniture are outdated and in need of renovation. Reports of peeling walls, musty smells and occasional cigarette odors, along with faulty air conditioning and outdated TVs, suggest a need for maintenance and modernization.
Cleanliness is another mixed aspect; while some guests have found the accommodations and bathrooms clean, others have reported issues such as dirty bathroom floors, moldy ceilings and dusty furniture. The state of the bed linens and towels, often described as old and stained, also needs attention.
Parking facilities at the hotel are praised for being spacious, secure and free, although the appearance of the parking lot has been described as needing aesthetic improvements.
Bed comfort has received mixed feedback. While some guests find the beds comfortable, others have noted issues like hard mattresses, old and uncomfortable pillows and linens that appear dirty or stained.
Overall, Hotel Capriccio São Caetano offers great value for money with its excellent location, friendly staff and decent amenities. However, improvements in room maintenance, cleanliness and bed quality would greatly enhance the guest experience.
