Cove Haven Resort is a fantastic destination for couples looking for a romantic getaway. The resort offers a variety of pool facilities, including heart-shaped options and private pools in the room, which were highly enjoyable. The warm pool water and sauna in the spa center were also a hit with guests. The outdoor pools were surrounded by scenic views and even deer, providing plenty of entertainment options. Although some rooms had leaking pools or debris settled at the bottom, overall the pool experiences were relaxing and invigorating. Staff were quick to rectify any issues, such as bugs in the pool or dirty tiles. While there could have been more activities such as water sports, many guests still found the pool area to be great for couples' recreation.

Summary of reviews related to the '3 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Split Rock Resort presents itself as a three-star destination that offers a reasonable price for those seeking a varied stay. While not luxurious or exceptional, the resort is characterized by its broad range of facilities and services, such as a water park and local attractions that cater well to families, especially those with small children.
Despite its potential, the resort’s infrastructure and furnishings are notably outdated. Common areas, including rooms, hallways and elevators, show signs of wear and tear and furniture appears dated. Some guests reported issues like a dirty pool and non-functional amenities such as the ice skating rink, which was essentially a floor without ice, leading to some disappointment.
On a brighter note, the remaining staff at Split Rock Resort are praised for their professionalism and courteous manner. The convenience of the location is another advantage, offering guests a variety of local activities. However, a refresh and remodel would significantly elevate the quality of this three-star establishment to meet its potential.
