The pool at iStay Hotel Ciudad Juarez has received mixed reviews from guests, though there are several positive aspects highlighted. Many guests appreciated the fact that the pool is heated and located indoors, making it an attractive feature regardless of weather conditions. Described by some as beautiful and ideal, the pool has received praise for its warm water and cleanliness at times, providing a pleasant swimming experience. Families, in particular, have noted that their children enjoyed the pool, which is seen as a great facility within the hotel's well-situated grounds.
However, the pool also faced criticisms regarding cleanliness and overcrowding. Some guests reported finding hair in the pool, murky water and a generally unclean environment. Issues with proper maintenance were also mentioned with claims of a strong chlorine smell or a lack of chlorine making the pool use questionable. The area around the pool can get very stuffy and suffocating with the facilities appearing outdated to some patrons.
Complaints about children running unsupervised, diving and mishandling equipment contributed to a chaotic atmosphere. The small size of the pool has been noted to exacerbate the problem of overcrowding, leaving little room for a relaxing swim during peak hours. Despite these drawbacks, the indoor pool remains a notable feature of iStay Hotel Ciudad Juarez, particularly during less busy periods when the water is warm, clean and the area is more serene.
